Inspired by the French Folk pottery and the traditions passed down to our local Potters in the Catawba Valley of NC. The clay is locally dug and mixed in the studio, where I will throw each shape, dip in porcelain, fire, paint, and fire again. This collection draws from the quiet of the French folk tradition, with soft blooms, gentle color, and forms shaped by the light and freshness of spring. The hand-painted porcelain is inspired by the tulip magnolias blooming along every roadside and in most park gardens.

***Please note this piece has a rugged bottom edge due to high high temperatures and shelf-sticking. It will be sanded but natural divets will remain. Not all pieces will have these details as the firings are unique to each piece.
